Mobile Broadband to Release 100Mbps

Mobile broadband has increased in popularity in the last year.   This increase has created many changes in the market from offering more affordable options to gaining better equipment.  An announcement on Monday stated that the mobile broadband is going to be offering fixed line ISP for an investment.  This investment is going to be a 100 Mega bits per second internet access offer.

Up until now the internet for mobile broadband has not be able to support the 100 megabits per second, though technology was working on making that happen.  The ISP’s are not going to offer high bandwidth connections for their products to make it the top option on the market.  Ofcom is the technology behind the 100 megabits per second option. It is different from the 3G technology that Vodafone and T- Mobile have released in the last few months.

The announcement was made at a conference hosted by Intellect.  They announced that changes are going to occur in the next several months in order to make the invest into mobile broadband worth it not only for companies and businesses, but also for the consumer.

The details of their new plan are going to be released in September to help show the fair rate that the companies will be offered for the new technology.  The regulatory steps Ofcom is trying to gain will hopefully make the new technology something that is desired over all else.

It is not just about investors though they are going to be able to get the market going for the 100 Mbps option.  It is also about offering a product at a competitive rate for consumers so that they can benefit from the faster speeds as well as get on the internet no matter where they are.

Having an ISP that works for consumers to download pages at a better speed as well as just being able to get online whenever they need to is something that has become more popular in the last several months.  The changes occurring will outweigh the cost of the devices needed to get the mobile broadband service.

For example Vodafone and T- Mobile Broadband are talking about making the mobile internet access free to enable their consumers to be on anywhere at any time.  This has yet to come to fruition, but 2009 may just see these changes.  Along with making it easier for the consumer to afford the product companies are also talking about expanding the mobile broadband access.  This access could soon be at the beach, in pubs, in their own backyard and other areas.

With the changes and soon being able to access the 800 MHTZ bandwidth the mobile broadband market is on its way to surpassing all other internet connections.  The dial up network is going to be obsolete very soon and more consumers are going to want laptops at work and at home to make it easier to access their internet and work.  For now though the 100 Mbps is going to have to suffice.
